An Easy Way to Boost Concentration and Memory
Now that summer is finally here, Chicagoans have been eager to get outside to enjoy the sunshine and warmer weather. This year, try venturing off the city streets and into some green space--a number of studies show that even a short time spent in nature can boost short-term memory, increase focus, and restore mental energy. Take a walk through the park or a garden, have lunch outside near some trees, or spend a few minutes looking at the lake--you may just find you get the boost you needed!
